Langinkoski Fly Fishing Area
Fishing period
There is a partial limitation on fishing salmon and trout during the spawning period. Licences are not available for the period between 1 October and 15 November. All salmon and overwintering trout must be released immediately without damaging them, if caught between 16 November and 31 May. There are no other limitations on the fishing period.

Fishing rules
- Only traditional fly fishing is allowed in the area, using a fly rod and line.
- There is a quota of eight fishermen at the time in the area.
- Use and storage of boats is forbidden throughout the area.
- Fishing is not allowed in any side streams. The locations where fishing is allowed are marked on the map given to the fishers in connection with purchasing the licence.
Minimum sizes
Trout 50 cm, salmon 50 cm, grayling 40 cm.
Licence types, prices and quotas
The licences are valid for 24 hours. The period of validity will begin and end at 6 AM. A maximum of eight fishers can use the area at the same time. If the entire area has been reserved for a single group for courses or other similar events, the area can be used by a maximum of 10 fishermen. Each of the fishermen must pay the normal licence fee.

If a reserved licence cannot be used, it must be cancelled at least 1 (one) week before the reserved time. Otherwise, the licence fee will be charged from the customer normally.

Services and infrastructure
There is a museum on the eastern bank of the river. It is not possible to make fires in the area. There is no waste disposal. This is a conservation area. Please try to use the ready-made paths.
